STBU places great emphasis on international exchanges and cooperation, and has established partnerships with over 20 institutions from 11 countres,including Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom, France,Spain, Japan, Thailand, and Malaysia.
Shinawatra University (SIU) is a private comprehensive university established in 1999 by Thaksin Shinawatra, the former Prime Minister of Thailand, with approval from the Ministry of Education of Thailand. The university has two campuses, both located in the capital city of Bangkok. The graduate campus is situated in the vibrant commercial district of OAI Tower, in the heart of Bangkok, adjacent to Srinakharinwirot University, surrounded by shopping malls, with easy access to transportation, offering the convenience of urban life. The undergraduate campus is located in Pathum Thani, on a 750-acre site, featuring modern educational facilities and a picturesque campus environment, often regarded as one of the most beautiful universities in Thailand.
Shinawatra University is an internationally-focused institution, offering a wide range of programs in over 30 fields across undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels. Its academic offerings include disciplines such as Education, Management, Medicine, Nursing, Psychology, Information Resources Management, as well as Fine Arts and Design, all delivered in English.
In June 2024, Shinawatra University signed a strategic cooperation agreement with STBU to collaborate on academic advancement programs, short-term study programs, and faculty degree enhancement initiatives. Over 40 students from STBU have participated in study programs at SIU.
