STBU is a comprehensive private university approved by the Ministry of Education of China. It was founded in 2001 as the School of Electronic Information Engineering of Sichuan Normal University, and became an independent institution, Sichuan Normal University Chengdu College, in 2004. In 2015, the institution transitioned to an undergraduate university and successfully passed the Ministry of Education’s Undergraduate Teaching Quality Evaluation in 2023. In the same year, the university was approved for the construction of a new master’s degree granting unit in Sichuan Province. The university operates two campuses, located in Chengdu and Meishan, and has 8 faculties with 51 academic programs across 6 major disciplines: Engineering, Management, Education, Economics, Literature, and Arts.

Salary and Benefits
  • Competitive salary packages in line with similar institutions. The salary for doctoral staff is negotiable. Upon joining, you will receive a salary equivalent to an Associate Professor. In addition to the basic salary based on position, qualifications, and experience, doctoral staff will receive a high settlement allowance, research startup fund, special doctoral allowance, performance bonuses, and project performance rewards (20-100 million CNY/year).
  • The university provides a comprehensive welfare system, including social security, housing provident fund, enterprise annuity, with high social insurance contributions to ensure a retirement package superior to similar public universities.
